Swimming schedule, track and field updates

The 2024 Olympic Games in Paris on Saturday featured a packed swimming and track and field event, as well as the start of the individual gymnastics finals, including Simone Biles on vault. The US men’s basketball team is also in action today, facing Puerto Rico in group play.

The Olympic swimming roster today features four qualifiers, including Katie Ledecky in the 800m free and Caeleb Dressel in the 100m fly. Today’s Olympic schedule includes Sha’Carri Richardson in the women’s 100m final, Ryan Crouser who will win his third consecutive medal, and Noah Lyles in Round 1 for the men’s 100m.

At least five US teams are competing in four league games, 24 games in total are in action, and USA TODAY Sports will bring you live scores, standings, highlights, and more for the day the whole. Follow along.

  • Physical exercise features individual finals for men’s floor exercise (9:30 am), women’s vault (10:20 am) and men’s pommel horse (11:16 am). NBC comes on.
  • Swimming heats begin at 5 a.m. The finals, including Katie Ledecky in the women’s 800m and Caeleb Dressel in the men’s 100m fly, are broadcast on NBC. USA Network broadcasts the heat. NBC broadcasts the finals.
  • Song and forget prelims, heats, repechage rounds and qualifying rounds start at 4:05 am and go through 2:10 pm relay (2:55 pm), women’s 100m (3:20 pm) and men’s decathlon 1,500m (3:45 pm) Yes! broadcasts the morning show. NBC broadcasts the finals and semifinals.
  • Women’s soccer enters the quarterfinals today with four games: 9am, 11am, 1pm and 3pm
  • Basketball has four group stage matches, two on the women’s side first, then two on the men’s side to close the day: China vs. Puerto Rico (5 am), Serbia vs. Spain (7:30 am), US vs. Puerto Rico (11:15 am, NBC), Serbia vs. South Sudan (3 pm).
  • A wave of men continues to play in Round 3 starting at 3 am
  • The tennis the slate includes a gold medal match for women’s singles and men’s doubles as well as a bronze medal match for men’s singles. It all starts at 6am
  • The 3×3 basketball The slate consists of four games starting at 11:30 am and running until 1:05 pm The games are later in the afternoon.
  • Other active games:Archery, badminton, beach volleyball, boxing, canoe slalom, equestrian, fencing, field hockey, handball, judo, rowing, sailing, shooting, table tennis, volleyball and water polo.
