Paris 2024 Olympics schedule: Where to watch Simone Biles, Gabby Thomas and Noah Lyles in the finals on Day 9

The 2024 Paris Olympics continue on Sunday with a full day of action in a number of ways. The special thing will be when the eyes turn to the song and the theater part on Day 9, but the women’s gymnastics will also work with Simone Biles and Suni Lee to look for other equipment.

Americans Gabby Thomas, Brittany Brown and McKenzie Long will compete in the first heat of the women’s 200 meters at 4:55 a.m. ET, while Grant Holloway, Freddie Crittenden and Daniel Roberts meet in the first heat of the 110 – men’s 110-meter hurdles at 5:50 am ET. Later, Noah Lyles, Fred Kerley and Kenny Bednarek will meet in the men’s 100 meter final at 2:05 pm ET, with the final at 3:50 pm ET. Nia Akins and Juliette Whittaker will look to advance to the women’s 800-meter semifinal at 2:35 pm ET.

For floor exercise, Biles and Lee — who won gold and bronze, respectively, in the women’s floor final — will be back in action when they compete in the final at 9:45 am ET. And after helping the men’s gymnastics team to their first Olympic medal in 16 years, Asher Hong will be looking for one of his own in the men’s gymnastics event. at 10:35 am ET.

Saturday’s action-packed podium was headlined by a lot of history for swimmer Katie Ledecky. The four-time Olympian won her fourth straight gold medal in the women’s 800-meter freestyle (8:11.04), becoming the first woman and fifth American to accomplish the feat. She also surpassed Jenny Thompson for the most Olympic gold medals with nine and won four in Paris. Another American swimmer, Kate Douglass, finished the 200m individual medley with a silver medal, while her teammate, Alex Walsh, was disqualified from bronze after an illegal conversion . In gymnastics, Biles excelled on the vault again, earning her seventh career gold at the women’s gymnastics final with a 15.300 average. Jade Carey also earned bronze with an average of 14.466. Men’s team rider Stephen Nedoroscik won the bronze medal after another perfect pommel horse routine. His average of 15.300 beat two-time defending champion Max Whitlock by just a tenth of a point.

The Americans also continued their success on the field. Ryan Crouser became the first Olympian in history to win three straight gold medals in the pistol. Sha’Carri Richardson took home silver in the women’s 100-meter dash in 10.87 seconds, while teammate Melissa Jefferson took bronze (10.92). Team USA had to accept another silver medal in the 4×400-meter medley, as they were upset by Femke Bol of the Netherlands and her time of 47.93 in the anchor leg.
