The innovative technology monitors and controls all RV systems on board according to user preferences and is the only product in the RV market that achieves this integration through a single platform.

This technology has many possible applications, from programmed lighting and climate control to door locks and water usage. With intelligent power optimization capabilities, Winnebago Connect will notify users via the main dashboard and the Winnebago App if problems arise with any of the onboard systems so they can quickly resolve them and get back to enjoying their time outside.
“No other platform puts more control in the hands of users, empowering them to navigate with ease and peace of mind like never before,” says Weckert. “It allows new and seasoned RVers alike to see the outdoors as they desire.”
The key to technology is that it works quickly. For example, if the temperature inside the RV exceeds a preset parameter, it will open the vents to let in fresh air before turning on the A/C. Winnebago Connect will also retract the awnings when the wind sensor detects wind conditions. Owners get the added benefit of remote self-check-in and self-checkout, as well as over-the-air software updates, ensuring they always have the tools and equipment needed for a great RV experience. .
Winnebago Connect will debut on the new Winnebago View® and Navion® 24T models before rolling out across the entire Winnebago line over the next few years. The platform includes free and paid subscription offerings.
Standard Features of Winnebago Connect
Winnebago Connect “Essentials” it offers a basic level of service and is free. In any RV equipped with Winnebago Connect, the technology will monitor and control all major RV functions based on user preferences, including:
- A lamp. Users can program the interior lighting and colors to change throughout the day based on sleep preferences, wake-up time, activity and more.
- The weather. Winnebago Connect monitors indoor and outdoor conditions as well as onboard equipment and adjusts HVAC systems to improve comfort.
- Energy consumption. Winnebago Connect can track total energy usage and shut down selected features, such as hair dryers, coffee makers, or A/C to prevent overloading or damaging other RV electrical equipment. It can again automatically turn off power to unused energy-generating systems, such as tank heaters, to save boondocking time.
- Water systems. Users can turn the water pump or water heater on or off at set times and set the desired water temperature.
- Awnings. When it’s windy, Winnebago Connect will retract the awnings automatically.
- Cabinet door locks. Users can lock and unlock cabinet doors automatically to improve convenience and ensure security.
- Real-time alerts. Winnebago Connect can send more than 100 real-time alerts to help users stay up-to-date on important equipment, such as remaining battery life, water tank levels and solar power generation. The technology will alert users when outside temperatures approach freezing so they can turn on the heat to protect water lines.
When users connect their phone to Winnebago Connect, they get access to these and more when they’re close to the vehicle. They can also conduct a home inspection to resolve any issues.
Winnebago Connect Premium Features
