As Cooper tries to get into the bathroom, Lady Raven makes a traffic stop to alert her followers to the victim’s whereabouts and rescue him.

When the police rush to his home, Cooper flees with Lady Raven in his limo. Shortly after, Lady Raven manages to escape the limo, and again, Cooper evades the police.

Cooper is ready to kill Rachel with meat soap, but he tells her that they need to eat the rest of the cake for Riley before the killing begins.

Cooper eats the cake only to realize that Rachel drugged him. Confused, he sees his mother at the front door. He had his say at times throughout the film, but this is the first time he spoke and revealed more about Cooper’s troubled life.

As he approaches his mother’s vision, he is greeted by two officers and Dr. Grant, who appears as the doorman.

Cooper is handcuffed, and as he walks to the SWAT van, he stops and is allowed to park Riley’s bike, which had fallen on the front lawn. He then hugs Riley and is kicked out.

The camera pans back to the bike to reveal that the front wheel is missing a spoke. Cut to Cooper in the van laughing as he uses the speaker to unlock his cuffs as the credits roll.

Finally, in the mid-credits scene, Jamie the concert worker is sitting on the couch watching the news. A report on the arrest of The Butcher is forthcoming, accompanied by a picture of Cooper. Jamie is horrified when he realizes that he helped Cooper. He vows not to talk to anyone at work again.

Cooper taking off the cuffs is a sign that Warner Bros. is keeping the door open for a sequel. Cooper is a ruthless but incredibly intelligent killer. It would make sense for “Trap 2” to follow Cooper on the run from the police, Dr. Grant burned his tail.

However, the anticipation of the sequel may depend on the box office performance of the film.

“Trap” is in theaters now.
