EA Sports College Football 25 Season Simulator: Alabama Crimson Tide

It’s still time to make predictions, and with every pundit under the sun speculating on how the Alabama Crimson Tide will fare in 2024, one could argue that pundits can know well.

After more than a decade of waiting, college football fans now have one of the most eye-catching tools to get a window into what the season could look like for any team. How does EA Sports College Football 25 think the Crimson Tide stack up for the rest of the tournament? The answer is just a few buttons away.

Alabama – 35, WKU – 14

Jalen Milroe lit up the scoreboard during Western Kentucky’s blowout with more than 280 yards through the air, three touchdowns and 34 rushing yards to boot. Justice Haynes and Richard Young both got the last out to cap the team’s five-run performance and start 1-0.

Alabama – 49, USF – 35

Despite a disappointing defensive effort in week two, Alabama’s offense opened the floodgates against USF. Milroe threw for another 253 yards and two touchdowns without throwing an interception and added more than 80 yards on the ground and a rushing touchdown.

Judge Haynes found the end zone three times in 12 and was a consistent goal threat in week two. Kendrick Law took two touchdown passes for 53 yards rushing and one score on the ground. Consider the Tide rolling to 2-0 on the season.

Alabama – 42, Wisconsin – 10

Alabama’s defense bounced back from its hiccup against UCF last week in the contest and held the Badgers to just 10 points in the fourth quarter.

Despite accumulating 178 yards through the air, Milroe threw four touchdowns that day and did not find an end zone on the ground. However, Germie Bernard found the end zone on another jet that went 96 yards to the house. Justice Haynes also found the end zone from the goal line again as the Tide improved to 3-0 in the contest.

Alabama – 41, Georgia – 43

The waves had to come eventually. Alabama fell to Georgia at home by a very narrow margin. Milroe turned in a masterful passing team with 278 yards through the air and four touchdowns and grabbed 51 more yards on the ground.

Haynes and Jam Miller each got paydirt on the ground once Kendrick Law caught four touchdown passes on his way to 137 yards through the air. The Tide sits at 3-1 heading into bowl week against Vanderbilt.

Alabama – 24, Vandy – 31

There are no words. Tuscaloosa would be hot. The Crimson Tide sits at 3-2 heading into week seven.

Alabama – 42, South Carolina – 27

Just like that, it’s back to business in Alabama. The Crimson Tide beat South Carolina as Milroe threw for another gem for 334 yards and two scores with no interceptions while adding more scores on the ground. Haynes and Miller combined for three more rushing touchdowns en route to a touchdown.

Alabama – 37, Tennessee – 31

The Crimson Tide left Knoxville with their heads held high after an overtime victory and a 21-point effort in the second quarter. Milroe threw another gem for 202 yards with two scores and zero interceptions and added 67 yards and one score on the ground.

Kobe Prentice caught two of Milroe’s touchdowns on the day while Miller and Haynes both finished once.

Alabama – 41, Missouri – 35

With the Tigers making a push to become the SEC’s dark horse, these stats shouldn’t come as much of a surprise. On another day, another Milroe team excelled in the air passing for 302 yards and two scores. This time, however, Milroe was picked twice, and it made things interesting from the start.

Those picks led to another overtime for the Crimson Tide, and another overtime win at that. However, Alabama survived a scary two weeks, and went 6-2 before a much-needed bye.

Alabama – 42, LSU – 28

Milroe lit up the Bayou Bengals for 353 yards through the air and five touchdowns with no interceptions and one touchdown. Every Heisman winner has that moment, and by comparison, this week was Milroe’s.

Alabama – 38, FCS Southeast – 37

The simulation accounted for the meme that the FCS Southeast might be a top 25 team in the FBS, and it was widely presented as a comparison. Milroe threw three touchdowns with no interceptions, but the Tide’s defense was held down after giving up three touchdowns.

Alabama – 35, Oklahoma – 37

A 14-point third quarter by the Sooners powered them past the Crimson Tide in the Week 13 showdown. Milroe threw two more touchdowns and added another score on the ground en route to a disappointing loss. The Tide sits at 8-3 heading into Iron Bowl week.

Alabama – 17, Auburn – 20

Hugh Freeze did it by comparison and led Auburn to a three-point victory in the Iron Bowl. The Tigers shut down Alabama’s passing attack as Milroe had just 52% completion percentage and less than 100 yards through the air. His two touchdown drives were the only outings for the Crimson Tide during the game.

The Crimson Tide’s final record sits at 8-4 to close the season, with Jalen Milroe finishing second in Heisman voting after throwing the final two games of the season. Overall, the EA route is probably not the best one to take when it comes to seasonal predictions, but it is certainly an interesting one.
