The 2024 Paris Olympics have a busy track and field schedule on Tuesday, with several team competitions going into the quarter-finals and finals.
The Olympic track and field roster features five finalists, including Gabby Thomas and McKenzie Long in the women’s 200m. Skateboarding has prelims and finals for the women’s park. Men’s basketball enters the quarterfinals, including the US men playing in Brazil. Women’s soccer enters the semifinals, playing in Germany.

- Song and forget preliminary and qualifying rounds begin at 4:05 a.m. The evening program opens with the men’s 400m heats and closes with the women’s 200m heats. NBC broadcasts the evening show. USA Network airs the morning show.
- Women’s soccer holds the semifinals today. The USWNT will play Germany at noon (USA Network), followed by Brazil vs. Spain at 3 pm (Yes!).
- Men’s basketball hosts four quarter-final matches today, Germany vs. Greece at 5 am (Yes!), Australia vs. Serbia at 8:30 am (USA Network), Canada vs. France at noon and Brazil vs. US at 3:30 pm (USA Network).
- Skateboarding hosts prelims (6:30 am, Yes!) and women’s park finals (11:30 am, Yes!)
- Beach volleyball and women’s water polo they entered the quarterfinals. The US plays Hungary in the women’s water polo quarterfinals at 2:35 pm

Olympic track today: What to watch
The final event of the night will be the women’s 200 meters. American Gabby Thomas won silver at the 2023 world championships, followed by Sha’Carri Richardson, who took bronze. Shericka Jackson of Jamaica, the reigning world champion, has been ranked No. 1 in the world since the end of May.
